Contrary to what the title of this post suggests, yes, I do shower. But, when life gets busy, something's got to take a back seat. Apparently, in my life, that would be my mane.

Exhibit A: I've grown a bit sketchy on legitimate hair washing and styling. After getting my hair blown out and curled at Blow by Blow over the weekend, I totally stretched that 'do out for 3 days. Necessary ingredients? Dry Shampoo.

Look, I can drive AND use Dry Shampoo!

Exhibit B: I have blow dried my hair like 3 times since my Engagement Party in early March. That's somewhere around once a month. Instead, I'm letting it air dry or putting it in braids for the morning. I never really know what I'm going to end up with, and sometimes it's way too '90s for my taste...

Exhibit C: I don't get my hair cut. I'm not sure if it's laziness or just not wanting to spend money and time, but I just don't like doing it. Anywhere I can't easily make (and cancel) an online appointment has lost my business. Again, am I lazy? What's the deal? Either way, since moving to Chicago 2 years ago, I have gotten two hair cuts. And they were trims. #LONGHAIRDONTCARE
