Tea and Poetry

Pin It Print Friendly and PDF

My dearest blog reading friends,

Today is a day of inspiration. Nope, no recipes here. No DIYs. No fitness advice. Just food for your soul. So, feast up!

Be happy. Drink tea. Read poetry. Praise God! And be cheerful. It's good for you!

Currently loving: "Clipper" Organic Peppermint Tea from none other than T.J. Maxx.
Currently listening to: Possibility by Lykke Li and Higher by Gungor

Following is a poem by Derek Walcott. It will make you smile.

The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other's welcome,

and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you

all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,

the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.

Who's feasting on life today? :)

  3. Amazingly fruitful on my part. Thanks for this one. Can I ask you if you already have a review on this tulsi tea I found from Mercola's? I want to try their product but I am not sure if it is effective or even safe at all. Can you shoot me an email if you have any idea on this one?
